| can't wait for bush to be out of office? we're in luck there's only one more year, but who will the public choose to be in the new elections? When that time roles around, I, and probably most of you will not be old enough to vote in the presidential elections, but our families members are. Who will you and your family be supporting? There are a few speculations on people that will be running? Will there be the first african-american canidate in the race? (Obama) or will there be a first women canidate? (clinton) who knows? well, we'll just have to wait and find out....dun dun dun.. | |

| Well, don't call me sexist, but I think it would be a bad thing for us to have a female president. This is not because I believe that women are inferior, far from it in fact, but I do have reasons for my beliefs. A) I'm sorry, but I don't want to know what a femal president would do every month when her time came. (If she has gone through menopause already then this doesn't apply) B) Countries would look down on us. As the most powerful nation in the world, we have an image to uphold. Many countries still view women as inferior. Think its hard negotiating with Middle Easter Countries now? Try having a female president attempting negotiations in a soceity that believes women should be second best.
I will be and am old enough to vote, and will register by then. I don't know who I will vote for, and I'm going to wait until I know who the candidates are before I go and decide who I'm voting for. Sorry if people don't agree with my opinions, but they are my own!

| I, actually agree with you...to some extent. I'm sure your reason letter A is based off a joke that you've heard from a comedian whose name I'm blanking on at the moment because my brother has mentioned that upteen times. I do in fact believe that having a women as president negotiating with the middle east would not benefit our country considering the way those middle eastern countries treat women. Although, if we had a women president it could change the way the world (or at least some of it) views women if they do a good job keeping things order..etc. But the question still lies: who will come first? An african-american male? or a white women? | |

| If it is going to be either, I think it is going to be an african American male, based off the fact that African americans get better treatment than whites sometimes now and then. A white man makes a comment even remotely racist and he is sued. I think that we have gotten to the point that it wouldn't be as large of a shock, and therefore I think that if either of them happens, it will be an african american male. | |

| I think that President David Palmer (24 on fox seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, beginning of 5) is a perfect example of good president of the united states....and he was african american. Yes, I know it is a TV show but still...he did handle the situations a lot better than Logan did in season 5 | |

| TV shows are NEVER a good example of what to have in a president. Anyone can be a good president if they have a talented writing staff... | |

| I really don't think Clinton will do the best job with the country. Neither of them will. Of course, thanks to Bush and the other Republicans, I highly doubt that we'll get any Republican presidents... | |
